Service Description

Our AP World History course is designed for students who want to gain a deep understanding of global history, cultures, and societies. This course spans from 8000 BCE to the present day, helping students understand significant historical events, trends, figures, and social transformations. Through a comprehensive study of history, students will develop key analytical and critical thinking skills in preparation for the AP World History exam. Course Content: Unit 1: Early Civilizations and the Agricultural Revolution Explore the dawn of human history, including the impact of the Agricultural Revolution, the rise of ancient civilizations (such as Mesopotamia, Egypt, the Indus Valley, and China), and how these civilizations shaped the course of global history. Unit 2: Classical Empires and Interactions Study the rise and fall of classical empires like the Roman Empire, Han Dynasty, and Persian Empire, as well as how cultural exchanges and trade (e.g., the Silk Roads, Indian Ocean trade networks) influenced global development. Unit 3: The Medieval Era and Global Connections Investigate the political, religious, and social structures of the medieval world, including Europe's feudal system, the spread of Islam, and interactions among African, Asian, and European civilizations. Unit 4: The Renaissance, Enlightenment, and Revolutions Understand how the Renaissance and Enlightenment sparked major social, political, and economic changes, and examine the causes and impacts of the American, French, and Latin American revolutions. Unit 5: Industrialization, Globalization, and Modern Conflicts Dive into the origins of the Industrial Revolution and its global economic and social impacts, studying imperialism, colonial resistance, the two World Wars, and the Cold War. Course Highlights: Comprehensive Global Perspective: The course covers a wide range of historical events, offering students a broad view of world history. Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills: Emphasis on analyzing historical events and developing students' critical thinking abilities. AP Exam Preparation: Specifically designed to prepare students for the AP World History exam, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills. Through this course, students will gain a strong foundation in world history and be well-prepared for the AP World History exam, enhancing their historical understanding and academic proficiency.
